Ray Noorda is Dead

The news cycle is more than a bit crazy right now (for both good and bad reasons). I haven’t yet been able to put my thoughts together on all of it, but I thought I’d mention the passing of Ray Noorda.
Normally one would have a nice little story about some personal interaction with the deceased to place here, but the truth is I never met Mr. Noorda. I did start my first company using his products though (Caldera Linux back in a simpler, happier time), and in general I liked what he represented in the world of PC’s.
